Description Large framed charcoal drawing with a face of a person and the words, "If yer knows of a better 'ole go to it!" by British Cartoonist, Bruce Farnsworth. This World War I cartoon depicts a soldier who has attempted to seek safety from gunfire by jumping into a fox hole. Apparently he was warned that fox hole was not enough protection, therefore his reply, "If yer knows of a better 'ole go to it!" The idea expressed was that England was making the best of any options available when she entered World War I against Germany.
